After training in Haute Couture in England, Joyce left for adventure in Canada.
A designer since 1990 she creates her own unique look here in the middle of Ontario.
Her edgy artistic designs, touched with European flare are created to enhance the female form by using asymmetric and bias cuts, layering and mixing wools, linens, and manmade fibers.
The colour and texture of each fabric has to sing before it is used in a design.
Comfortable signature cuts form the base of ever evolving designs, which are often described by customers as comfortable, elegant, and timeless. Great attention is always given to detail. Hand dying of fabric also offers Joyce a personal color palette to work with.
Each season’s collection consists of limited editions and small runs.
Inspiration comes from seeing the world through a lense of colour and texture, music and movement, the look, feel and texture of the fabric itself and the way it drapes.
She designs custom pieces for any occasion.
